The scene in is that of the railway lines that leave Park Station in Braamfontein. They weave about and converge together under the light and glory of the iconic Nelson Mandela Bridge. From there we loose sight of their destination, an uncertain future eclipsed but a blood red super moon waiting to rid itself of it’s blood stain and regain it’s former golden glory. An apt visual metaphor of the once divided and reconciled people of South Africa praying for a golden future for an amazing country.

It’s a tech world. Kids are born, wiped clean and given an iPhone. Just about. I’m not being judgy, trust me, I’m the worst. I’m always counting down the days to the annual Apple Keynote. I was stoked just to be selected to compete in the Adobe Photography Jam in London. We had no idea what to expect. We were told to be at Shorditch studios and await a brief. That’s it! No idea what were had to shoot, what environment (studio, street?). So the first challenge started before I left my house, what kit to pack and what bag to pack it in.
